Low Frames, high cpu usage
In game I get no more than 40 fps, and on maps like outpost or cryo archive, I sit between 17 and 28 fps. My GPU stays around 30-40% usage while playing while CPU goes up to 85-90% and I'm not sure how I can make the game run smoother. I'm not a snob for frames but my game stutters more than twice a second and has instances where it puts my game into slow motion for my character. I have all my settings on the lowest besides character render distance on medium. My laptop has a 13th gen Intel 17, 64gb of memory, a Nvidia GTX 4070, and fully updated windows and drivers. I have verified game files, reinstalled, made the game the only non-essential process running and nothing seems to help. Let me know if there's anything I can change!

Thank you for the report in sharing your experience and system specs. Rest assured that performance tuning is ongoing!
While it may be possible to play on certain laptop configurations, we do not officially support them per our Marathon Storage and System Requirements guide.
That said, we recommend checking out our PC Performance guide so that you can improve your PC performance when playing Marathon.
