Crashing

I’m on PS5 and my game keeps hard crashing. I have to physically unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. When it does that it has to check my hard drive and msdd drive to make sure it’s ok. I afraid I’m going to damage my PlayStation but I want to play the game. If I can’t play the game I would like a refund. This is the only game my system is doing this my other games work fine.
