  STINGRAY is a sign‑on / platform error that usually means the game is getting blocked at the platform level (PSN/Xbox/Steam) rather than by Marathon’s own servers.

  A few things to try:

  1. Fully restart everything

     • Close Marathon completely.
     • Reboot your console/PC.
     • On PC, also restart Steam/Epic.

  2. Check for outages and updates

     • Make sure PSN / Xbox Live / Steam are up in your region.
     • Check for any system updates and a game update for Marathon, then try launching again.

  3. Confirm entitlements / account

     • Double‑check you’re logged into the same platform account that owns Marathon (or the code you redeemed).
