Stuck self spectating and leave penalty after squad wipe
PS5 slim
Both me and last team mate got downed and gives up. Then got stuck spectating myself. The option to leave crew is there but there is leavers penalty. Even though I believe we were squad wiped.

Thanks for the report! Did this happen after being disconnected and reconnecting to the lobby? We're seeing a rise in reports about that and are currently investigating.

Time 2:40 Sydney time.
I don't think there was a disconnect. I have been existing the game to go to the PlayStation home screen to prevent PS5 slim overheating/fan issue.
Other info: my first team mate died and I think their respawn timer ended. My other team mate was knocked a bit before me and was getting finished by UCSC and I believe they used the give up around the first few damage ticks of the UCSC finisher and I gave up right after.
The end screen said that the second team. Mate was still alive
