Other details: I'm trying to run Marathon on a 2025 zephyrus g14 with a 5070 ti mobile GPU and an AMD 370 HX and the game runs at around 50 frames regardless of the preset i use, it's all around a 50 fps, choppy unstable framerate.

When you load into a run does your gpu usage also massively drop? I’m having the same issue, when I load into a game my gpu just doesn’t get used only my cpu.
yeah the util is really weird, my gpu has been going over 50% util but really inconsistently, i've been hitting 50 fps averages on each and every preset using or not using DLSS.
I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an RTX 5080, and 32GB of RAM, and I think the game should run well at 1440p on ultra settings, but it rarely reaches 144 FPS. It usually stays around 80–110 FPS with occasional stutters.
