Shell the cradle and future of Marathon
Hi. Thanks for the recent posts and videos. Very excited on what’s on Tau Ceti’s horizon. I wanted to post a suggestion that I think you guys may already be doing but just in case:
I love the addition and f the cradle! Not a lot of reasons to reset unless you want skins, but you comments on cradle changes and custom shells had me thinking. I hope this is what you are doing, if not please seriously consider it. So in March when the PVE/PVP/PVPVE ( man that’s a LOT of “P”s) get linked here is a feature I think will inspire people to reset their cradle more AND experiment with new shells. I assume gear acquired say in PVE will be siloed to the PVE experience in order to protect the economy. Now, as for PVP maybe you do carry stuff over from PVP to PVE like “customized shells” from the cradle. Maxed out the cradle? Happy with the shell you built but might be interested in trying something different BUT your reluctant to just wipe all that hard work. Worried about the next reset? NO WORRIES! Transfer your PVPVE shell to your PVE experience ”shell database”. Now you can reset your PVP shell to try something different some new combinations of levels, shells, customization but should you ever long for a run in your old shell just jump over to PVE (maybe team death match?) and give it another run or two. I know I would be resetting my cradle CONSTANTLY to come up with new shells. Maybe even take a break from Assassin. This way all the stuff I grinded out for in PVPVE isn’t “lost” isn’t “wasted” it’s a token of a fun PVPVE “season” that brings back memories when using it in PVE. I truly hope that’s where you are going. Always happy to elaborate on the idea further. Feel free to reach out.
