Persistent Game Crashes after Patch 1.0.5 – Intel Core Ultra / NVIDIA (No Error Code)

Dear Bungie Support Team,
I am writing to report frequent and abrupt game crashes that have made Marathon unplayable for me since the release of Patch 1.0.5.
Issue Description:
The game crashes to desktop (CTD) without any error code. These crashes occur randomly, often during match loading or mid-session. I have already performed a clean reinstallation of the game and verified the local files, but the issue persists.
Troubleshooting performed:
  • BIOS: Updated to the latest version (N.1.18A14, Date: 03/09/2025).
  • Drivers: NVIDIA GPU drivers and Intel Management Engine are fully up to date.
  • BattlEye: Manually reinstalled from the game directory.
  • System: Running on a clean Windows installation with no overlays (Discord/OBS) active.
Loss of Progress:
Due to these crashes occurring during active extractions, I have lost significant in-game gear and progress. This is extremely frustrating as these technical failures are outside of my control and tied to the latest game implementation. I would appreciate it if Bungie would consider a form of compensation or a "roll-back" for players affected by these documented stability issues on Intel Core Ultra platforms.

  • GPU:  NVIDIA Geforce RTX 5080 Laptop
  • RAM: 32 GB
