Game Crashing due to Intel Ultra Core CPU
The last few times I've booted up Marathon, I can play for a few minutes and then the game will either 1.) freeze momentarily and then quit to desk top with no error messages or pop ups, or b.) Instantly return to desktop from borderless fullscreen and close the program, also no error message or pop ups.
I've seen a few posts about this and it seems like this is because of the Intel Ultra series CPU's and solutions range from updating BIOS to messing with IME.
Been a pretty big disappointment not being able to play with my friends

Thanks for the report! Rest assured that crashes are automatically reported to us when they occur. In the meantime, we recommend keeping your GPU drivers and Windows version fully updated.
If you experience crashes often, please try re-installing the game using the steps in our guide below:

Please also note that the game is not officially supported on laptop devices, even if those devices otherwise meet the minimum requirements.
I'm experiencing that too, it's happening since last update and bungie didn't fix it yet, i hope they do something fast.
I am also experiencing repeated crashes too. I have Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF.
There are other forums that suggested updating BIOS, but why should we have to update bios? Every other games like arc raiders are stable and in no need to update bios, but Marathon?? The only game? Bungie should be the one fixing their own game, not us! It was working before the last patch. Just fix this so we don't have to see another post of crashing and the same dude going to every post telling us to update bios when its Bungie's job to fix this. Probably why Bungie is ignoring every post lol because they're like "hey they can just update bios. Fixed." No! we know to update Bios.. but some of us don't want to take a risk to brick our pc or do not know how to do it. Please fix the frequent crashes, Bungie Support. Thank you. We love Marathon! Please bungie!
I love that so many people cannot play the game they paid for and yet there has been no official acknowledgement from Bungie on this. Feels really great.
Reporting the game as broken on steam is the only thing we can do as of now.
