Game crashes every time since update.

Since the update my game has become bricked entirely. I am able to launch and get to the "slick to start" screen. When I do click it says signing in down in the right corner, the loading symbol moves into the center of my screen, then it turns black and shuts down the game. I dont even get a crash report or anything.

 

In the last few days ive tried every fix i could find online, ( verify integrity, system restart, uninstall and reinstall both game and battle eye, literally uninstalling discord and all known conflicting apps, let through firewall, run as admin, -dx11 and -dx12, all drivers updated, windows on newest version, all system specs are far beyond minimum, even swapping to multiple different monitors because why not atp) 

 

NOTHING HAS WORKED 

 

All anyone has been able to tell me so far is to "swap to my backup platform" and re-purchase the game..........

Getting close to giving up and ive been crazy excited since the first teasers a few years ago

    We can confirm the team has received reports of crashes of this nature and is looking into the situation. That said, you could try the following potential solutions in the meantime, which some players have reported success with:

    • If you recently installed any new driver update, please try reinstalling the update in question. Alternatively, you can try going back to a previous driver version if you are comfortable doing so.
    • You can go to Settings -> System -> Recovery -> Fix problems using Windows Update to see if that helps. 
    • Ensuring that both BattlEye and Marathon are whitelisted by your antivirus software could also have an effect, though it seems you've already looked into similar settings.
  • I hate to leave this kind of comment when the game is getting so much undeserved hate, the 15 hours i have been able to play before update has been amazing but this kind of problem and having no way to really get direct help just feels so incredibly bad.

  • this is exactly the same problem some people and I have right now. One day the game suddenly bricked and i'm not able to go past this log in screen. Everything worked fine the day before. Did everything i could to resolve it but with no results.

  • Can I trouble anyone experiencing the crash to pull the error log: 

    Press Win + R, type eventvwr.msc and press Enter

    Browse to Windows Logs > Application, then scroll down the list to the red exclamation point  (❗)

    You should see a log similar to this:

  • I just tried to pull up the rror log and launched a few times for the crash to show up. only thing is it doesnt show up.... the game launches succesfully and apparently just closes itself
