Marathon won't launch on Steam (PC)
Just bought the game, and it wont launch - Not even reaching the main menu. My PC (Windows 10) has met all of the minimum requirements. I had the same exact issue with the Server Slam, which is why I didnt play it.
No guides on youtube have helped either. My pc runs and launches games like Destiny 2 just fine.
- My Nvidia Geforce drivers are fully updated.
- I have tried to verify integrity of game files on steam.
- I have tried to restart my PC
... and nothing seems to work. Help would be very appreciated.

When you press play does it just say stop and then play again? (Little green button in Steam library)

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues launching the game. If you haven't already, on top of your GPU drivers being up-to-date, can you double check and make sure that all of your other drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all up-to-date as well? If you haven't already, we'd also recommend trying to uninstall and reinstall the game.
Hopefully those help. If you are still having issues, to help us further investigate the issue, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and provide us with the viewing link.

In terms of updating my BIOS?... Which steps do I need to do exactly?

Not a bungie rep but I had success after updating my BIOS. First thing you gotta do is find out what motherboard you have. You could type ‘msinfo’ in your windows search and the motherboard should be listed by “base board” I believe. It’ll show you the BIOS version in there too.
Flashing your bios is a little scary but just follow the instructions from ur motherboard manufacturer exactly! You’ll likely need a flash drive for this too. I have an asus board so it was pretty simple but not sure about other boards.

Hello Louts. Steam and the game claims that the game is launching with the BattleEye launcher window etc.
Yet the game application itself never launches.. Never had this problem with Destiny 2.
Hi Boggy. I just did exactly that... I too use an Asus machine/motherboard. I downloaded the latest Bios from the Asus App and applied it in the Bios Mode with flash drive and everything, downloaded and applied successfully.
Yet it still doesn't work... I'm amazed.
