Bug: HAMMER/ANVIL challenge doesnt work

The challenge HAMMER/ANVIL doesnt seem to work, i tried everything from downing with grenades, finishing with grenades, downing with melee and finishing with melee ( not the finisher) in one run. but it doesnt register.
Also what does defeat in the context of this challenge mean? downing or eliminating? both dont seem to work.
Ive ran out of grenades

If you are able to record a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, link it to us here, and we'll be glad to take a closer look at the issue.
I dont know what i did, but now it counted, do you maybe have to kill someone with "only" grenades?
