Refunding this game due to silent crashing
Quite frankly, Bungie. I'm insulted. As a long time Destiny 2 fan (~3k hours on my current PC plus a couple hundred on on my PlayStation), I was looking forward to playing this game. I didn't get selected for the first beta test, which is fine, but then this past weekend I couldn't participate in the server slam because the game would not launch on my PC.
I tried everything I could think of (e.g. fresh installs, various ways of nuking BattlEye to reinstall, removing audio interfaces, disabling midi drivers, creating local users, reinstalling Microsoft redistributables, clean boots, toggling off memory integrity, removing competing anti-cheats like Faceit, running an SFC, disabling CFG, fucking everything) and nothing worked.
I hoped that maybe on launch day with a new build, perhaps the issue would be resolved, but no. I'm still showing the the same faulting module (unknown) and exception code (0xc0000000) in the event viewer.
So, at this point, I requested a refund through steam, and honestly? I'm probably not coming back. Fix your game because this is just unbelievably disappointing and that's coming from a longtime fan who quit Destiny because of all the missteps you have made with that game. I was hoping things would be different with Marathon but I guess that was too much to ask of you.

literally the same. Batlleye launches then I see Matathon.exe in processes then silent crash without any errors. Looks like useless batleye need AVX2 instructions and thousands of people won't play this game just because of this bs. Shame on bungie.
