Sound stuttering issues
While running the game, as soon as I launch the game's audio is stuttering all the time. This only happens while having an audio engine up (voicemeter banana ver. 2.1.2.2 latest ver.)
To counter this I have to turn it off, reroute my audio and not use my audio engine.
Only reason why I'm reporting this bug in the first place is because this only happens with this game. No other game audio stutters as such while having the audio engine up.
Edit: I recently found a work around on this (for now) for those having the same problem:
> Close entirely Voicemeeter banana
> Open Marathon
> then when in Marathon lobby (not main menu)
RELAUNCH Voicemeeter Banana
This entirely removes the sound stuttering at least for me.
Update (3/23/26)
Issue is back
While the troubleshoot did work momentarily. After the latest patch, the audio stuttering is back.
I'm going to make another (new) post posting the video of how to stuttering goes and see if this issue gets fixed soon. As it's literally the only issue I have with the game.

I'm having the exact same issues while also running voicemeter banana 2.1.1.9, the audio seems to stutter and static for about a frame or so once a second.
I'm also using voicemeeter and experienced this during both the Server Slam and on launch. Same os the OP, I use voicemeeter with every other game with no issues but for some reason get it when playing marathon unless I shutdown the software completely.

Wanted to make an update to this post,
I discovered that when opening the windows 11 system volume mixer to try and re-route the audio to troubleshoot the problem that while voicemeter banana is open and running at the same time as an instance of marathon that is stuttering and having audio problems, the number of instances of marathon inside the volume mixer seem to be increasing extremely rapidly, as soon as voicemeter banana is closed they immediately stopped increasing in number and went back to just 2 instances. Included in this reply is an instance of before closing voicemeter and after while running marathon, note the size of the scroll wheel in the second photo as the ENTIRE volume mixer page is nothing but marathon instances. I was unfortunately unable to capture a clip of the audio issues in question as I was having trouble with my clipping software.
