I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for making Marathon.

Honestly, this is my favourite game in over 10 years, and I don't think I can fully explain how much I'm enjoying it. There's something incredibly special about this game that keeps me coming back, and I really wanted to let you know that all the hard work, creativity, and passion you've put into it hasn't gone unnoticed.

The gunplay is absolutely incredible. Every firefight feels intense, satisfying, and meaningful. The movement, the feel of the weapons, and the overall combat experience are just so good. On top of that, the lore and atmosphere are amazing. I love the mysterious world you've created, the unsettling feeling of exploring it, and the way the story and environment make you want to dig deeper and discover more. There's so much character and personality to Marathon, and it really stands out from anything else I've played.

I know Marathon gets a lot of hate, and I'm sure it can be difficult to see so much negativity directed at something you've worked so hard on. But I genuinely believe this game is something special. It's just so damn good, and I wish more people would give it a proper chance rather than writing it off. I think a lot of people are missing out on an incredible experience because they're not willing to give it a fair shot.

As someone who has played games for years, it's rare to find something that grabs me the way Marathon has. To find a game that makes me this excited to jump back in, that gets me invested in its world, and that makes every encounter feel exciting is something I don't take for granted.

So, from a genuinely happy player, thank you. Thank you for taking the risks, for creating such an incredible atmosphere, for delivering some of the best gunplay I've experienced, and for building a world that I want to keep exploring.

Please don't let the negativity drown out the people who genuinely love what you've made. There are players out here who appreciate the game, who see what makes it special, and who are grateful for the work you've put into it.
