Scrolling In-game Mail Resets to Top
When reading long in-game mail content the scrollbar will often reset, returning the page back to the top - requiring re-scrolling down to the content the player was attempting to read. Safe to say this is quite annoying and actively fights the player intent.
Platform: PlayStation 5
Reproduction Steps:
- Open in-game mail system
- Open a mail that is fairly lengthy requiring scrolling to read
- Scroll down using the thumbstick so that the page content is moved off the top of the display and the scrollbar displays as having been scrolled downwards.
- Wait a number of seconds
- The scrolling should "reset", playing an audio fragment and displaying a static visual effect - returning the page all the way to the top.
Expected Result:
- The page should remain at the exact place the user scrolled to and should only scroll due to user input, and reset only when a different in-game mail item is selected.
