Game crashes when trying to open Steam overlay
- Bungie Account Name - Fuse#5330
- Platform - Steam
- Description of Issue - As soon as the overlay opens, my PC freezes for a moment and then the game crashes.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - The moment I press the button to open the steam overlay, such as trying to view someone's profile. Most recently around 23:40 UTC+2 on 11th June 2026.
- Repro steps - Open the steam overlay. Any way will crash the game.

Thanks for reaching out.
This appears to match a known issue involving the Steam overlay. Please try disabling Steam Overlay in Steam Settings → In Game, then restart the game and test again.
If the crash still occurs, please also disable any other overlays or capture tools running in the background, such as Discord overlay or Always-On game clipping, and close any screen sharing or capture utilities.
