Muffled Audio after being disconnected while dead, and revived while disconnected.
My audio was fine. I died in a team fight, my teammates won it, then while they were reviving me, I disconnected from the server (code anteater). When they finished reviving me, I was reconnecting / not already in the game. When I loaded into the game, I was alive again, but my audio was muffled (like I was underwater). Kind of similar to how it sounds when the Scan Drones target you with the slow-down-goo (MCH or whatever). I do not know what causes this bug because I have had it happen before in unrelated circumstances. But at least this time, I know it started immediately after the sequence of events I have described here.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.
Please provide the following details to add to your report:
Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.
Q: The approximate date and time of when this first happened
A: June 10 2026, 5PM Pacific
Q: Does this only happen on certain maps or modes?
A: The few times I have experienced this bug, does not seem to be map or mode specific. I know I encountered it a few times in Season 1 in Cryo Archive (no idea the dates — late in the season though). I distinctly recall completely closing the game and reopening it during S1 in Cryo to fix the audio (restarting the game did fix it). This bug report, though, was based off of the bug occurring to me while playing on Dire Marsh (day) trios, at AI Uplink.
Q: Does this happen sometimes or consistently?
A: Extremely infrequently. I have encountered this bug maybe a total of ten times, tops, over hundreds if not thousands of runs (I have no life). I’ve only had it happen once during S2 so far (that’s what this bug report is about), but in S1 it happened multiple times throughout the season. For reference I reached level 300 during S1 and I am already level 100 in S2.
Q: Do you have a video of this happening in game?
A: I probably clipped it, yes. I am writing this reply on my phone while on break at work though so I cannot check or upload it now. When I am home, I will check my clips folder and upload the video if so. I will check back in once I’ve uploaded (or if I am wrong about having a video) and update the thread here accordingly. I may also have videos of this bug occurring earlier in S1. If those clips are of use, let me know and I will dig thru my replay files to check if I can provide any.
Thanks for the speedy reply. Will reply later tonight with YT link or to let you know I have no video.
Hello, I uploaded the clip of the audio muffled bug to YouTube. It is a bit difficult to hear, and the other audio sources (discord, my own mic) are a bit loud in the recording. Anyways, here is the link: https://youtu.be/ZaD4o6Z_WfE
Headphone / volume warning at the start. I did not touch the audio levels at all, they are the same volume that they were recorded in, and my mic is (way too) loud. I included the previous 3~ minutes before the bug started to occur for context. The bug itself starts to occur after I get revived, at around 02:25 in the clip I posted.
Sorry for the profanity in the clip. It was all raw audio from Discord & my mic.
Hi there,
Thank you for the detailed report and for the video.
The video does appear to show the audio becoming more muffled after the revive and reconnect sequence you described.
If this happens again, the main troubleshooting step we’d suggest trying first is to fully close and relaunch the game, since you mentioned that this resolved the issue for you previously.
Aside from that, we appreciate you reporting it. I will pass along your report and video to the relevant channels to help us investigate this further.
