XBOX Elite Controller inputs ineffective

Hi, My Xbox gamertag is Boffitchev, I've been playing Marathon on a Xbox One X via cloud streaming on a wired 1gb fiber internet (connection tested with the Xbox network test option). I experienced problems with my controller (Xbox Elite controller V1). This controller can reduce the trigger course with a mechanical switch, ideal for shooter. My controller is unmodded, updated to the latest firmware, batteries fully charged and inputs tested through the controller set-up option on the Xbox dashboard. 100% operational device, however when the switches to reduce trigger course are on the triggers sometimes feel unresponsive, which makes gunplay feel janky like if the weapons were jammed. Sometimes weapons just won't fire at all. I experienced this regularly since I started playing last week. I hope that helps. I'm willing to provide additional info if necessary.
