Flashing graphical glitch - only in specific menus
Hello team,
I have a very weird and somewhat off-putting issue, my screen has large black bars flickering over specific menus in-game. It doesn't appear on screen recordings, making me suspect there might be either a driver or a hardware issue. However, Marathon is the only game where I have this issue, so unless the game pulls some extremely unique shenanigans that no other game (including Destiny 2) does, that my GPU in particular can't handle, I doubt that it is my GPU failing.
The menus it happens on that I can find are the opening screen (where you Press Any Key To Continue to the main menu), the Vault and the Armory menu.

Thanks for the report.
We are aware of situations where black bars flicker across the start screen and certain menu screens on Steam/PC.
One workaround was switching to windowed mode and then back to fullscreen, which cleared the issue temporarily until the next restart.
At the moment, there does not appear to be a confirmed root cause documented, so while it’s understandable to suspect a driver or hardware issue, this has also been tracked as a Marathon-side issue.
We are currently looking into these situations.
I will pass your report and video along to the relevant channels for further investigation.
