Is it possible to unlink an account through support?

I've changed my PSN account. The old one has not been used for about 10 years. Why can't I unlink the profile? I will take all the risks associated with this. Don't be an asshole, Bungie.

Hi there,

Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances.
