Season 2 Mailbox Completely Not Working – Missing Rewards

Hello everyone, I have discovered that my issue is more serious than I originally thought. My in-game mailbox has been completely broken since the start of Season 2. I am not receiving any mail at all. Because of this, I cannot tell whether rewards have been sent to me or not. It is possible that I have already received rewards, but I cannot see or claim them because my mailbox never updates. The mailbox worked perfectly during Season 1, but since Season 2 started it has stopped functioning entirely. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is Bungie aware of it? Most importantly, will players receive any rewards they were unable to claim because of a broken mailbox once the problem is fixed? Any information from Bungie or other players would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    What exactly would you like me to show? A screenshot of an empty mailbox?

    1. I am not receiving any messages at all.
    2. I played on the first day of Season 2, and I never received the compensation package that was sent to other players who were playing with me that day. Everyone else received the reward bundles through the mailbox, but I did not.
    3. During one match, I swapped gear with my teammate, and the items I brought into the match were never returned to me.
    4. I swapped gear again in another match, and once again the items extracted by my teammate were never returned to my account.
    5. I have not received any of the Season 2 system messages or notifications.
    6. I have not received a single message of any kind since the start of Season 2.
    7. There are no error messages. The mailbox simply does not work, and I cannot see any messages at all. I also know several other players who are experiencing the same issue.

  • To clarify, I did not receive the 50 Silk compensation (the Season Pass currency), and I have not received anything else either.

    My mailbox has been completely empty since the very beginning of Season 2.

    This is not a case of a single missing reward. I am not receiving any mail whatsoever. No compensation packages, no system messages, no Season 2 notifications, and no item returns.

    The mailbox appears to be completely non-functional on my account, and it has been that way since Season 2 launched.

  • I hope that once this issue is fixed, I will receive all of the mail that other players have been receiving, including:

    * The compensation rewards from the first day of Season 2, when the servers were crashing every few minutes.
    * Any other compensation packages, system messages, notifications, and rewards that have been sent since the season started.

    Right now, it feels like other players are receiving free bundles, compensation rewards, and various bonuses through the mailbox, while I am receiving nothing at all because my mailbox has been completely empty since the beginning of Season 2.

    I would appreciate clarification on whether these missing messages and rewards will be restored once the mailbox issue is resolved.
