Black screen instead of the game menu followed by a crash to the desktop

Since the beginning of the second season, after the title screen loads and files are checked, a black screen appears, and the game just crashes. There is no way to play the game.

it's a rare issue
try to create new windows profile
login on steam and but up the game on the new windows profile

It's happening to me too. I even tried to create a new windows profile like the last comment said and it doesn't work.

I’m having the same issue. Black screen navigating the menus. followed by a PC crash. I can still hear audio but if I click any button I lose it.
I’ve tried, updating and reinstalling all CPU/GPU drivers. Updating OS. Reinstalling the game and verify integrity of files. Removed all overlays. Closed all apps running in the background as much as possible. This happens almost every other game. Get about 1 hour of in game run time before this happens.
