We understand you're unable to access Marathon for Open Play. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine how this may have caused concern. If possible, please consider using your platform's share feature to capture a videoclip demonstrating what you're experiencing.
If you record a clip, you can upload it to a site like Youtube and link us to it here. We'll then investigate.
Bungie Support There is no clip to capture. When you go to the game's store page on Xbox consoles it only offers you prompts to purchase the game in full, no trail/demo download option is present for the Open Play Week. I was able to install the game from the Xbox app (pre-install before purchase or inserting a physical disc) but it kept prompting that I didn't own the game and wouldn't allow it to launch.
Weirdly, once I added the game to my wishlist it let me launch it and get into the menus, but when I checked the game from the home page it still had the error icon that said I didn't own the game and wouldn't be able to play it.
Bungie Support There's no demo or trial version to install, so I can't send a video because I don't have the game.
