Can't log in, says the servers are down but aren't really, and says to look for error code yam, but nothing pops up

Marathon is undergoing maintenance for Season 2 until 10 AM PDT, which should be ending right around now, but we still recommend giving it a few minutes.
Once maintenance is complete, please make sure to download the update prior to trying to login to the game. If you encounter the error code you describe, then please link us to a screenshot of it, and we'll review.

Hi, I have a similar issue here. Unable to matchmake - screens get stuck in "initialization" of contracts. I've received anteater, weasel and oregano codes, having attempted standard network troubleshooting methods.
I assume this may be a maintenance-tied issue?
