Completed compiler twice, neither time awarded me the skin or the codex entry. this is absolutely unacceptable for like the pinnacle content my whole season and hundreds of hours was building towards, NEEEDS ATTENTION
So after almost a dozen failures and almost finishes me and my crew FINALLY, FINALLY! got our first compiler kill today on the last day after trying it for weeks. It was amazing we yelled in prox and made a truce with all 4 other teams and the 15 of us could barely fit in the airlock going to it, i was running triage and made sure to pop my tactical and used my lookout to light him up from the middle of the green bubble, from the start before damage phase started through the cape opening right up to his death all in that first phase.
It was a glorious display of overwhelming firepower.
We all raided the loot room (and i even got my first and only biotoxic disinjector!). But after exfilling with everyone else in the final circle in the loot room i ended up back in the lobby with zero new updates in my codex and no compiler skin for triage... and hey, we had 15 people that time, maybe we just bugged it out we decided (or at least i tried to rationalize to keep spirits up) in the lobby chat. So we locked in, backs to the wall and stakes even higher, grinded away for several more hours to find one more vault 5 key and exfill the insane gauntlet of that last day outpost chaos.
That vault gave us another dna card and we got out by the skin of our teeth after a frantic fight against a team trying to steal our exfil. That dna card we immediately took into the next game, this time im running recon, and we try to go for it just the three of us, if we are able to. But we basically hit labs right at the same time as another team who also had a dna vail, so we said screw it! lets just go up together rather then risk not getting it done tonight. so we went up with just the 6 of us this time (well actually it was 7 because we killed a two of a team that tried to fight after we offered to let them join us and followed us up the vault 7 path, but their third surrendered so we let him join our 6). The fight was a bit harder this time and took two phases but we got it down and again I was standing in the green to pop his cape, then emp, then doing damage through his weak phase, just like last time. because i read all sorts of rumors online about certain things you had to do during the fight to actually trigger the skins and everyone pretty much agrees that you needed to be doing the damage to the compiler and not just pressing buttons or shooting orbs, so we all made sure to do that this time like callouts before anyone shot to make sure we were all there and everything. just as i was doing it last time but we figured (or further rationalized) maybe if the whole team doesn't do the damage no one gets it? maybe... we were just honestly trying anything anyone hinted might be tied to receiving the compiler skins, and I even took a group photo of everyone at the end too to prove it this time (i wanted to the time before but someone jumped in the exfil as soon as it showed so we all had to rush there to not get left and didn't get time for the photo just a photo of the ring on the way out that run) but anyway photo attached of both the recon and the triage runs exfils.
Also if you didn't pick up by the title of this post i got no codex entry or skin after that run either nor did anyone on my team at all just like the earlier clear. and like look i put a HUGE amount of time and effort into this game this season that compiler skin was an aspirational goal that i was working towards and investing that time into and getting robbed of the joy of finally getting the prize that i had been building towards all season and saving all my best of the best gear to go through just ended up a massive double disappointment when it should have been a moment of happiness. like if i wouldn't have made it past the damn compiler at all no matter my attempts sure that's on me. but when i actually beat it twice even on the last day when states are high and my back is against the wall like do you understand why people play games like this that tension and the release of that tension when you have finally hit that elusive target. like my whole season is basically ruined (ok maybe not but the highest high of it defiantly was),
like yeah i get that i will have them added to my account retroactively, but that's really not the same feeling of getting to that unlock screen and reading the new loot right when your heart is still pounding from the victory, so i think you OWE me a little bit more then just my missing skins (some lux too maybe at least enough to buy one bundle as a baseline) as a gesture of apology that i didn't get to properly experience what was supposed to be the peak moment of my season due to your bug.

We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
Yeah, from what i’ve read they wont even be adding them retroactively. We are just screwed. 3 months of grinding and we dont get the reward. This one hurts. Personally will leave this game behind if this is not addressed and fixed
Idk man that reply makes it sound to me like they will add them through the in game mail system once they decide on the level of compensation they are gonna hand out with the missing skins. this is definately a qualifying server side issue. they have all the data and metrics of our runs they know exactly who left which game through which exfil and what enemies they damaged.

they just mean the support agent replying isnt the decision maker on that they just here to report back they cant do anything or make any promises the devs work through the game systems automatically once the automation for that case is added in a patch of course
they gave the missing skins and compensation to the team that got denied their rewards through game bugs before, they literally have to do at least as much for this case. its the same level of off-putting to the person experiencing it, this will destroy them on social media if they don't respond right they are just making sure not to undercompensate and were busy waiting to have all the players they need on a list so they only gotta do it once and dont have s2 launch literally right in front of them. im assuming this gets resolved before the end of the week, they wouldn't dare not let us show off our cryo skins to free week players or they make the situation even worse.
