I killed compiler with crew. Everyone else but me got the skin.
I made this previous post about the issue this weekend: https://help.marathonthegame.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/49320482513556-Killed-compiler-exfilled-got-no-skin-or-codex-entry-but-my-crewmates-did and support replied saying I needed to register a certain damage event to be rewarded the skin. However I attached a video of my kill and you can clearly see that I damaged the compiler an entire first phase and again in phase two. In fact, one of my teammates who was DOWNED the entire first damage phase received the skin while I did not.
Bungie's reply came off automated and as if the video of my clear was not reviewed. I followed up but did not receive further comment or help. I'm making another thread because I don't know what else to do. I fell in line with what support said needed to happen, there is clearly a bug going on.

This also happened to me last night. Rossingtonn#7205. I previously killed Compiler once six weeks ago with my Medic with someone else who had the subroutines, got the main codex caps and Medic skin then. I’ve been grinding hard to get my subroutines, finally got all six done yesterday. Had the goal to get another kill in before the wipe to get my Vandal skin. My team brought the DNA access card, did the things, invited 2 other teams to join us, and all went in to fight the compiler. I used one of the panels to bring down his invincibility, was in the green bubble shooting at him and his green balls, shot him in the head and chest, but got knocked off the platform before he died (I did not go down). When he died I was close enough to get hit by his blast, but not close enough to die (I took damage). I interacted with his body afterwards, and we opened the level 5 vault, left (successful exfil with all 8 players) with goop, and the other two members of my squad got their first kill codex caps and skins, but I did NOT get my vandal codex cap or skin. Played a few more rounds last night, hoped it would cap late, it didn’t, logged in again this morning, no cap.
I agree, this is bogus. This is an extremely challenging encounter on multiple levels, and while it’s fun, is really stressful for literally no reason if YOUR game doesn’t work.
Please investigate and correct (I didn’t get a video, but multiple team members got a screen grab of all of us before we exfilled).
The members of my squad who did get their codex and skins were R_SQUAR3D56#8682 and Franklotion666#5066. You should be easily able to investigate based on this information provided and reconcile my cap.
If you’re going to make a product that is very challenging for specific high level rewards gated behind hours upon hours of farming, grinding, keys and gates, gankers, and “puzzles,” when players actually do complete it they should 100% get the cap 100% of the time.
I may also consider opting out if this isn’t fixed. What’s the point?
