Clarification on XP

Hello, I am hoping to understand how XP is calculated on runs better as of April 23rd, 2026.

Is there XP gained for things like: time spent in the match; rarity of loot exfil'd with; amount of items exfil'd with; whether valuables award XP or just currency, etc.

I understand that you get XP for taking down UESC and as well as opening unopened loot containers and doing events. I am struggling to attain season level 100 in one season and just want to know how I can fare better.

Thanks for reaching out.

While we're not able to provide how XP is exactly calculated, we would be able to pinpoint a list to gain Season XP.
- Killing UESC and other AI, plus assists.
- Downing and killing players, plus assists
- Opening loot containers/plant dispensers for the first time in a run.
- Completing in‑run objectives/events.
- A successful Exfil, which applies a multiplier to the XP you earned that run.
Pure time spent in a match, Loot rarity or number of items by itself mainly affect credits and faction reputation, not Season XP. Valuables are primarily for credits and faction rep, not a major Season XP source.

If you're working toward higher seasonal levels, focus on consistently completing objectives, engage with events, and participate in runs where you can safely extract loot, and that may help improve your overall progression.
