Where does the child invite Guardian/Parent for access, and where is it received and/or managed?

Thank you for reaching out.
The invite and management are both done on Bungie.net, not in-game.
Where the child sends the invite
Sign in as the child on Bungie.net.
Go to the Parental Controls page (Account Settings → Parental Controls, or the URL the game/QR code sends you to).
If the account is flagged as a child without a guardian, that page will show:
A shareable invite link and a QR code the child can give to their parent/guardian.
The child copies that link or shows the QR to their parent so they can open it on their own device.
(You can also reach this flow from the in-game parental-controls notice, which just redirects to the same Bungie.net Parental Controls site.)
Where the parent/guardian receives and manages it
The parent opens the child’s invite link (or scans the QR).
This takes them to their own Parental Controls dashboard on Bungie.net.
On that page they’ll see a pending request in the “My Family Members” section, with an Accept button.
After accepting (and completing adult verification if needed), the child is linked and the parent can manage settings (voice/text chat, crew invites, etc.) from that same Parental Controls dashboard going forward.
The shareable link does not appear on my child's page (13 years old) either. I'm the parent, I've done the age verification, but your help says I can't start the linking. I've tried his account on multiple devices and browsers and different paths with no success.
All searching online has found is parents frustrated with this process over the last two years, with a series of 'this finally worked for me', none of which worked for me or the numerous other parents who replied. Do you have any steps that actually work??
