Died after 0 at evac

I finally had a solid looting run with rook only to be punched out of the evac bubble AFTER the timer hit 0 and I could no longer move my character. This seems like something that should not happen as I had zero control to avoid death. Such an upsetting outcome and complete waste of my time.
