Game wont launch, no error.

Pretty much the same as reported by various people in https://help.marathonthegame.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/46683835624084-Game-doesn-t-even-launch

After pressing PLAY in Steam, BattleEye opens, says it is starting the game but it never does and BattleEye closes. Steam says the game is running for about 15 Seconds, before resetting. I never see the game screen nor any errors.

Any ideas?

Please see our Marathon Storage and System Requirements guide to double-check that your system meets the current minimum specs. If it does, please try ensure your Windows and GPU drivers are fully updated.

Hi and thanks for the response.
I have this setup, which from my understanding is indeed slightly below the minimum specs:

Windows 10 x64
AMD FX-8320E 4 core, 3200 MHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB)

I thought I could at least give it a try and was surprised that it would not launch.
