Server issues and exfil mishaps

Firstly, during the first week since release both me and several of the friends I play with had severe disconnect issues with server connection errors popping up (for the protocol, such issues did not appear during the server slam); on several instances people were disconnected from active mission and couldn't log back in session; in fact, I had one occasion where I not only couldn't rejoin at all but couldn't even connect to marathon servers after the mission ended, thus getting stuck on the log-in initial screen for half a day, having tried to enter the game several times and attempting all sorts of things to fix potential connection issues on my behalf, to no avail; the server connection issue pop-up appeared yesterday as well, causing me to be unable to interact with the interface and forcing to restart the game, although this time it thankfully happened in the main menu; I like the game a lot but encountering significant and sometimes gamebreaking issues and bugs feels genuinely disappointing; my second point is the actual enigma of how exfils operate, because the way they trigger and the result of that trigger have been different almost every time throughout almost 40 hours of gameplay; this is especially true for final exfil that appears after the timer, which works in even more mysterious ways, sometimes triggering before the countdown, immediately getting people out without delay or arbitrarily "choosing" whom to extract despite several people standing inside at the same time; today we had an even more ridiculous exfil issue where time was running out, we were using a "normal" (non-final) exfil and after standing for the full duration of its trigger inside of it and getting the proper animation of getting exfiled our team received an "eliminated" notification; that happened although we: 1) left before the timer could even end, even though it is even supposed to give an additional minute for final exfil or those already activated 2) waited for the proper trigger of the already activated exfil while inside of its zone and received the normal effects and animation of extracting; while the former is clearly simply a case of server issues the latter I assume might not be a bug, and instead just convoluted, counterintuitive and genuinely aggravating mechanic that needs several quantum mechanics professors to be explained to the average player; if so, I would like to note I would prefer this were a bug; I truly want to enjoy marathon and I respect the attempt to make it a more severe and unforgiving experience, but there is a difference between being cruel to the runner and being dismissive of your own players and their attempts to enjoy your game
