Account Linking Discord

I could not find a post specifically about this issue. Any time I try to link my discord account it seems to fail at the handshake

Error code: 10001


I have been trying periodically for about 2 weeks now hoping the closer we got to the Marathon Release or after this would resolve itself. It is the same result each time still and I am worried I will not receive some ARG things I was told I earned as a result of the error. 

Discord does show to be an authorized app.


Could there be a setting I need to enable? I am at a loss as what to do outside of getting help from a bungie and/or discord employee 

I played Marathon as a kid and I am having too much fun with this game. I would be made very sad if I miss out of somethings due to this technical error outside of the game. Thank you to anyone who can help me resolve this in advance.
