Can't set game to windowed mode, crashes when attemping to do so

• Description of Issue - As I play on an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor I generally have my games windowed so I can play them at 16:9. When I go into settings and attempt to switch the game to windowed, it will go windowed and then after about 4-5 seconds crash the game. Upon booting the game again it is back to full screen.
• Rough Date and Time of issue - Time I tested it in the video was about 22:30 GMT on the 6th of March 2026. I tried it a few other times beforehand as well with similar results.
• Repro steps: 1. Go into settings 2. Switch from fullscreen to windowed 3. Game will crash after a few seconds. 4. Boot game again, will be full screen again.

A way to play either windowed or fullscreen with blackbars would be much appreciated, thanks!
