Request to allow unlinking platform accounts (Steam, Xbox, Twitch, etc)
I would like to request that Bungie reverses their decision to not let users unlink any platforms from their users accounts. This may seem like a prevention step forward, it is equally as damaging.
If criteria exists that support an unlinking, Bungie should allow it.
- Good account standing, no bans
- More than one platform linked
- Re-verification of platform link to approve the unlink
Bungie and users can easily meet this criteria to unlink accounts and it doesn't cause all of the headaches this change in policy makes.
Additionally, maybe I missed an email or notification somewhere about this change last year, I'm sure I'm not alone in this boat of needing to remove an account from my profile for a myriad of reasons.
