Locked out of redeeming game code

I’ve been locked out of redeeming my game code for ps5 because of “too many repeated failed connection attempts” I’m now going to have to buy the game again after spending £200 on the CE with the game code because it’s not been released at the time stated on the code redemption instructions. This is extremely frustrating and I feel robbed of my money, how is this okay? Do I need to apply for a refund?

Thanks for reporting this, and I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to redeem your Marathon game code. As a first step, could you please try closing and relaunching your client and game, and let me know if you are able to redeem your code now?

Hi,
I’ve tried doing that, ended up having to buy the deluxe edition again as the code wouldn’t work at all, so I’m down £49.99 as I had to buy it again.
How would I go about getting refunded for my game code as I spent extra on the version of the CE that came with one, and it didn’t work at all.
