Using Text Chat While Loading Into a Match Stops All Inputs For Text Chat

Platform - Steam, AMD ti7845 Laptop GPU

Description of Issue - When attempting to use text chat while loading into a match ie when Perimeter or Dire Marsh comes onto screen, if you press enter to go into text chat or right before, in the match you will be unable to see or use text chat. In the bottom of the screen it says to press esc to exit text chat but this does not work. After completing the match, I am unable to proceed into the end screen in addition to no inputs being registered.

Repro steps - Press enter or you text chat equivalent while loading into a match, specifically right as the loading screen appears or have your text chat window open while the game begins it match load.
