Game crashes on the first loading screen
The game just crashes after a few seconds into the first loading screen, i can't even get into the menu...

Thanks for reporting this issue. If you see this happen again post-launch, please try to capture footage and let us know.
Happening to me as well, platform is steam .. tried uninstalling, verifying, deleting the folder completely.. deleting and reinstalling Microsoft Visuals c++, steam in admin, restarted PC, internet restart... still no justice.
I am having the same issue. I am using an XBOX ROG Ally X (handheld PC) and steam. Sometimes I can get to the initial system setup screen, but the cursor won't work and it crashes a few seconds after that.
Update - docked the ROG Ally and used keyboard/mouse to get through the setup screen seemed to work (controller mode = crash for setup). After completing the setup and going through the tutorial with mouse/keyboard, I am now able to load the game with controller mode and no more crashes since then.
Same as the above unfortunately. Has anyone found a solution yet by chance?
Welp seems like I’m not the only one having this issue. Can’t get past the sign in screen on my RoG ally
I had exactly the same problem. I spent about 7 hours trying to fix it. I got past it by lowering the screen refresh rate to 60Hz and turning down the resolution. Then I set everything back to normal, and it hasn’t frozen since. It’s confusing.
Same here, been trying to find a fix, still nothing.
Same here. I have Xeon E5-2886 (lga-2011), 32gb RAM, RX6900XT and this game cant even run after Batleye checking. All other games I'm playing on ultra. Looks like CPU should have avx2 support for this anticheat. Planned to buy this game but without testing it it no make sense
