I had the same problem. Now my quest is complete. Took a while to find the grenades though

I found Chem grandes in world and went and completed the quest, so it is possible.

I’m having the same problem. I died after blowing up one box in AI uplink, now I can’t open the Chen box to get more chem grandes to finish the final two.
