Marathon runs fine on PC but feels awful on PS5 since update
I have Marathon on both PC and PS5 and the game runs fine on my laptop over wifi but since the update 2 weeks ago even playing wired on my PS5 with a download of about 700-800 Mbps the cursor seems to lag in the menu and my runner seems to move at 45 degree angles and the stick seems to move very slowly or sluggishly. Even raising the look sensitivity and lowering dead zones didn't help and shouldn't matter as the settings carry over from console to PC and vice versa. I've tried clearing my PS5 cache and rebuilding the database, I've deleted the game and re-downloaded it, I've reset my modem and router, and I've tried the controller on PC and it works fine. To help us investigate further, can you clarify if there are any issues when trying to engage in combat or does this only occur when moving around the map? If there are also issues in combat (with bots or players) can you provide an additional short video showing the issue?

There are issues with combat as well. It feels like when you move the stick the reticle feels stiff and jumps from point A to B rather than sliding the reticle from A to B. Its very hard to aim with anything but a volt weapon. https://youtu.be/C1Z7-FWOtVw?si=Eqlzrx4E-rKFOnpI&t=30 You can see when shooting at the shield bot that I try to hit center but jump left then I move the stick to hit right get a shot on the shield at head level try to move back over correct hard to above the head then again then over correct hard to shoot the ground. I'll try to get a video on PC to show its not just a skill issue I just have no idea how to screen record on PC so it'll take me a minute to convince my fiance to take a video of me playing. I am completely average at the game to be honest but I do enjoy the gameplay and the lore a lot and want to play the game. It's just difficult when it is pretty unplayable on one console and I jump between PS5 and PC because I have a bunch of cats that don't all get along and need to split my time between rooms. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

To help us further with our investigation, if possible, can you clarify if you've tried connecting your PS5 controller to your PC to play the game? If so, do you have the same issue, or is it solely when playing on PlayStation 5 with your PlayStation controller? If you haven't, can you try doing so, to see if the issue persists on PC using that particular controller?
