Post-match re-queue no longer preserves Solo/map settings and can queue solo players into Trios
Bungie Account Name:
UESC Ghost#6217
Platform:
Steam
Description of Issue:
After finishing a match, the post-match queue settings no longer appear to be maintained from the previous match.
Last season, if I finished a match and queued again, my selected map and queue type were preserved. For example, if I was queued as Solo, the game would keep that setting when re-queueing.
This season, those settings are not being maintained. Because I am used to last season’s behavior, I often spam the space bar after a match to re-queue. This now causes me to get placed into Trios instead, but still as a solo player, because Crew Fill appears to remain locked/disabled after a Solo match.
As a result, I have been queued into Trios alone multiple times and have died 4 times because of it.
Rough Date and Time of Issue:
Current season. From the start of the season through the most recent occurrence at 2:47 on 6/6/2026.
Repro Steps:
-
Queue into and complete a Solo match.
-
Finish the match and return to the post-match/re-queue screen.
-
Attempt to quickly re-queue using the same input flow as last season.
-
Observe that the previous map and queue type are not maintained.
-
The game can queue the player into Trios while still keeping crew Fill locked/disabled, resulting in the player entering Trios alone.
Expected Result:
After finishing a match, the game should preserve the previously selected map and queue type, as it did last season. If Solo was selected, re-queueing should keep Solo selected.
Actual Result:
The queue settings are not preserved. The game can queue me into Trios while I am still effectively solo due to crew Fill remaining locked/disabled.

Additional Notes:
This is especially easy to trigger because the previous season trained players to quickly re-queue using the same inputs. The current behavior can unintentionally place solo players into Trios without teammates.
