Game crashes after initial boot screen every time since season 2 update
I cannot even get to the home screen. The game boots and i press the button to continue, it seems like it is loading, then the screen goes black and it just crashes. No error or anything. Every single time.
Worked just fine prior to the season 2 update.
I have verified file integrity, updated drivers, uninstall/reinstall. NOTHING IS WORKING.
Please advise or give me my money back.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the game crashing since the most recent season started. On top of all of the troubleshooting you've already attempted, if you haven't, please also ensure Windows is fully up to date and that your BIOS is up to date? Please also try launching the game with all non-essential third party applications closed, to see if it helps.
If the issue persists, to help us investigate further, can you clarify when the game crashes and if you are receiving an error code when this occurs? If so, which one are you receiving? Please also provide us with a copy of your DxDiag. You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and respond with the link.
I am experiencing the same issue, or at least a very similar one.

Out of curiosity are you running the game on a drive other than the C drive, Insidious Rogue?
I see one player on the Steam Forums recommending moving the game's installation to the C drive, but that is not possible for me (Hunt: Showdown crashes if you attempt to run it on an external drive, so that issue wouldn't be entirely unheard of, but it would be deeply frustrating, and I would be forced to stop playing if the game was made incompatible with my system).
