Friend request bug.
Guess I’m done with this game. I have like 20 friend requests I can’t accept. Making new friends in a new game I thought would be a priority for Bungie.
I go to accept and it never actually accepts it. I don’t get an error code. Friend requests just sit there even after selecting to accept.

Thank you for the report. We're seeing a rise in reports about this occurring once a user has a large number of friends and are currently investigating.
I’m seeing the same thing. On console, I accept and it appears it added the friend but the option to accept comes back, and they don’t get added.
I attempted on Bungie.net and I get an error that I have too many friends, though I only have 10, nowhere near the max.
Hey guys, I figured it out. Bumnghie friends are limited across all games. So Destiny friends count towards that 100. You need to delete D2 friends and then it will let you add Marathon friends. Super easy thing to figure out, actually. I don't know why Bungie is dropping the ball.
