Previous post. Wasn't there guidance by Bungie that gear wouldn't be returned for client side issues but would be when game issues occurred? You can't really have a healthy extraction shooter if your game doesn't work properly and you do nothing about returning what was lost. Would appreciate an update on timeframe for this because the longer we wait, the less useful that stuff is.

    Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue.

    We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.

    In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them. 

    Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.  

  • Yeah that's apparent. If you watch the video you would also know it is a game side issue that caused the loss of items. I'll be creating another post if there's no response like there was the last time. There's video proof for you all to see that this was a game issue, not client side whatsoever.
