Logitech Pro X2 Superstrike Has MAJOR Sluggish Input lag/Slowdown at 4/8K HZ

-When setting the Polling Rate for this new mouse to anything above 2000HZ, the input starts to freak out and go into a slowdown effect. It gets worse going up from 4000HZ.
-It has happened anything I change my polling rate from 2000HZ to 4000/8000HZ. Ideally I'd love to utilize the full 8000HZ this mouse provides. It is easily reproducible by using this model of mouse (or probably any one that supports super high polling rates), and set the polling rate to 4000/8000HZ.
