same issue
my game won't open, I have a 2600 and a gtx 1070, above the minimum requirements. this is bad, Bungie. it needs fixed

We understand you're unable to open Marathon, despite being above the minimum requirements. This does sound strange to us. By any chance, are you seeing any error messages or codes when this occurs? Please describe what you experience when this issue arises and consider linking us to video footage of the issue, if helpful. We'll then review.
The issue i am having is that upon attempting to launch the game, my pc initialized the BattleEye anticheat and "pretends to open the game." It adds minutes played to my steam account and even says the game is currently running. however the game window never opens, and after 30 seconds the game stops running all together

personally ive discovered that my motherboard lacks the TPM software that BattleEye requires, no way to skip around that. Maybe Bungie can find a way to tweak that because I was really looking forward to playing Marathon, but I just had to request a refund because if it doesn't work on the server slam, it probably wont for the full game itself
