This was on xbox. It was the anteater code. Essentially game just started lagging badly with my player stuck in place and then the error screen popped up.

Purple kit lost to server crash

Add me to the list of people who lost their kit to server crash. It’s bad enough we wiped the lobby and lost connection, but to lose the kit ontop of it is just insane.
