Error code yam in Vault Breaker followed by being given max Silk

Tried my first game of Vault Breaker tonight. Lost connection to the servers about 10-15 minutes into the run (bummer) but the real weird thing was when I tried to log back in I got error code yam, which I'd never even heard of in all my years playing Bungie games and when I tried to look it up I couldn't find any official description for the error code, only occasional posts of other players encountering it, mostly in Marathon apparently. So I have no idea what it actually means or what I'm supposed to do if it happens again.

I only got this error code once for now and was able to get back into the game, where it gave me the "run failed" results screen (again, bummer) but then it rewarded me with max Silk for no reason. I think I was at about 20 before. I wondered if maybe this was some kind of automatic compensation for getting kicked from the servers mid-run, but I've never seen or heard of that being a thing so I also wonder if it's a bug. Not complaining either way.
