Contacting Marathon Servers issue
This has been haunting me since 07/17 18:00. Its not my internet connection, i already made contact with my ISP and no issues were found. I also added firewall exclusions to the game and to battle eye.

Error code Yam happens when your anti-virus is blocking Marathon's connection to your computer.
You can work around this by either disabling your anti-virus when Marathon and BattlEye are running or by adding those programs to your anti-virus' allow list.

Its not just yam. It showed multiple random network errors and this was only in the weekend. While before that period, i had never any issues when connecting to the game. And the instability was mainly in the lobby/matchmaking. In game i hardly had any issues at all.
