Bug Report: Recon "Trifecta" Codex Mastery Challenge Not Working

At the risk of repeating what seems to already be known (yet for some reason isn't listed as a Known Issue as of this writing), Recon's "Trifecta" Codex mastery challenge, wherein players are asked to defeat 3 Runners within a single Echo Pulse, does not seem to be tracking progress. This has been my last outstanding challenge for mastering Recon for sometime now, and is easily the most luck-based challenge I know of given the high number of human elements at play, both enemy and allied player alike. Below I will link an instance I encountered last night where I had enemy Runners practically rain down on top of me from upper Algae Ponds while my Echo Pulse was active. I'll let the clip mainly speak for itself, but I strongly suspect I at least hit the three-player threshold prior to my Echo Pulse ending:

There are a handful of ideas that come to mind in terms of making this challenge more obtainable--reducing the number of required player kills, focus on UESC enemies instead, etc--however I have a very "student loan" attitude towards it, in that I wouldn't be mad if it were auto-completed for all players just so they can be spared my own torment. I'll know I earned Shadow Index for Recon fair and square, and respectively, I believe that I have.
Otherwise: I'd suffice for analysis of my clip and an explanation as to what I didn't quite do that made me miss the mark, so that I can at least do better moving forward. Above all else: thank you for taking the time to read, and thank you for all that you do. I'm only this passionate because I love the game you guys have made that much. <3

Thanks for reaching out.
For Trifecta, the down and kill needs to be completed by the player for it to count. Teammate assists or finishes may not count towards the codex.

A fair explanation, thank you for the clarity! Perhaps a future pass can be given to the wording in the challenge so that it more accurately details the requirements?
(Though, I will maintain the challenge requirements posed by Trifecta feel disproportionately demanding. Having to contend with your teammates disqualifying your progress by means of assistance seems somewhat antithetical to survival.)
