Matchmaking too strict for Oceania, not enough players to find matches

The game is unfortunately becoming increasingly unplayable at times, presumably as the player counts drop and more queues are added to the game splitting up the playerbase.

Trying to play in off-peak hours in Oceania feels like an exercise in futility lately. Playing between the hours of 6:50 and 8:20 AM AEST today for example, my experience was:

  1. Perimeter, Crossplay enabled, Squad Fill - Time out after 10 minutes, unable to find players/match (code: oregano)
  2. Perimeter, Crossplay enabled, Squad Fill - Time out after 10 minutes, unable to find players/match (code: quince)
  3. Perimeter, Crossplay enabled, Squad Fill - Time out after 10 minutes, unable to find players/match (code: oregano)
  4. Perimeter, Crossplay enabled, Solo - Entered match after roughly 8 minutes in queue. Was able to play a game for over 20 minutes and exfil without issue.
  5. Dire Marsh, Crossplay enabled, Squad Fill - Time out after 10 minutes, unable to find players/match (code: oregano)

All in all, for playing around an hour and a half I was only able to "play" for around 20 to 25 minutes of game. Unless there's something going on with networking limitations other than purely regional limits (ie. does network strength affect which lobbies I'll be matched into?), then it really feels like it needs to be more generous with limitations in terms of who will be matched globally. It's weird seeing 15,000 to 20,000 players online, but not being able to actually PLAY with any of them.

I'd rather play a laggy game with players in other regions than have the game remain unplayable for large portions of the day, personally.
